A four-day live event from Thursday to Sunday, September 24 to 27, 2026, for authors, aspiring authors, and speakers. It combines publishing guidance, speaker training, and live stage performance. It is hosted by Dr. Denise Nicholson, founder of Bold Publishings.
The primary venue is the Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mahwah at 3 Executive Blvd, Suffern, NY 10901. Friday and Saturday sessions are held at Rockland Community College, and Sunday’s events take place at the New York Botanical Garden in the morning and The View on the Hudson in the evening.
This event is for aspiring authors who are writing, planning, or outlining a book and want a clear path to publishing, and published authors who want speaking engagements, visibility, and a platform to sell books and build revenue.
Westchester County Airport, HPN, is closest to the venue. Newark Liberty International, EWR, is about 45 to 50 minutes away. All schedule times are Eastern Time.

VIP and Elite Authors get early access to every event on the schedule. Plan to arrive about 30 minutes before each listed start time, including before lunch.
The detailed schedule is sent to One-Day Pass holders before the event, so you can plan around your chosen day’s speaker lineup.
Wednesday, September 23, from 6 PM to 8 PM is weekend registration and check-in at Crowne Plaza Suffern, with VIP and Elite early access from 5:30 PM.
Thursday, September 24 is VIP Day from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, including masterminds, masterclasses, VIP lunch, free time, and the All-White Welcome Reception from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Friday, September 25 is Speakers Training Day at Rockland Community College, including speaker training, TEDx and Stand and Deliver talks, panel discussion, and networking.
Saturday, September 26 includes training and business-development sessions, Elite C Suite Authors on the Bold Ideas Stage, keynote, and networking.
Sunday, September 27 includes the optional NYBG 5K Fun Run in the morning and The Blue Dinner & Book Awards Ceremony from 5:30 PM to 10 PM at The View on the Hudson.
Thursday is business casual for the Masterminds, then all white for the evening Welcome Reception. Friday and Saturday are business casual. Sunday is something blue and fancy for The Blue Dinner & Book Awards Ceremony.
The Bold Ideas Stage is a curated, professionally filmed live stage on Saturday where qualified attendees deliver short, high-impact talks. It is designed to give you professional footage, real audience practice, content for PR and social media, and a speaker credential.
Yes. Participation on the Bold Ideas Stage requires an application. Not every attendee automatically presents.
Friday’s Speakers Training Day at Rockland Community College includes speaker training ahead of your talk, a 7-minute Stand and Deliver presentation, and a VIP panel discussion and networking with speakers and thought leaders.
All Elite Authors present on Saturday, alongside a keynote speaker and a lineup of Elite C Suite Authors. Family and friends are welcome to attend and cheer you on.
Thursday lunch is served for VIP and Elite Authors from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, and the evening reception offers hors d’oeuvres.
Friday and Saturday lunch are provided for all attendees.
Sunday’s Blue Dinner is included with Bold Elite tickets and takes place from 5:30 PM to 10 PM.
A $100 Weekend Transportation Pass covers round-trip transportation to and from Rockland Community College on Friday and Saturday, and to the New York Botanical Garden on Sunday morning.

The Bold Bookstore is a bookstore and book fair included with General tickets and up. You can add your book to the store’s inventory, schedule a one-hour signing slot, and invite friends, family, or fellow attendees to your signing.
Vendor tables at Rockland Community College are available for two days. They are standard size and must be registered by the deadline of August 30, 2026. Instructions for shipping materials are sent after you register.
If you want to be considered for the Most Book Sales of the Year award, submit your sales numbers by August 1.
